Y/N is animal print still in?

I am in love with Kate Moss' animal print coat. Of course I'll probably look like a shaggy sofa throw in it, while she looks stunning but I still want to try it.

    YES.

Animal print is never out of style.

  • Thistle replied 11 years ago

I think yes, at least by what is being sold in the stores.

Angie has spoken! Me and Kate Moss are going to be style twinnies soon. Never thought I would be able to say that!! Animal print coat is coming home with me for some trial and error stylings :)

  • biscuitsmom replied 11 years ago

Yay! I bet you'll look stunning in it :)

Can't wait to see it, Rita!

So glad Angie says "yay" since I have a few animal print items and still love to wear them!

You and Kate Moss - how fab is that?! Looking forward to seeing this on you Rita.

Forever and always. Animal print is a classic that just rises and falls in popularity.

  • replied 11 years ago

Yes! You can definitely pull it off. Who is it by?

  • modgrl replied 11 years ago

Zap, I'm not getting THIS coat. Express has a similar one on sale for $50.

  • replied 11 years ago

    Ahhhh.... I'm such a dummie:)

I don't think it ever really goes "out". Angie is absolutely right. But there are good animal prints and bad ones. The good ones are forever chic, and the bad ones can look VERY bad.

    Similar option for even less!

I've been around long enough to know that it never goes out of style, just gets more popular at times. You will look spectacular in a coat like that!

  • TraceyLiz65 replied 11 years ago

You are going to really rock this coat!

  • rachylou replied 11 years ago

Oh I say yes. And going really strong.

  • goldenpig replied 11 years ago

Can't wait to see it on you, Rita. I am going to have to live vicariously through you as I fear animal print coat is out of the question for me, sadly.

  • Jjsloane replied 11 years ago

Gosh I hope it's still in (I'm heavily invested as you may remember, but it's nice to be reassured I'm not just a crazy cat lady at the moment.) I look foward to seeing it on you.

  • replied 11 years ago

Great coat, look forward to see you model it. Hope it works for you!

  • modgrl replied 11 years ago

Natalie - I am going to have to wear it "tough girl" style like Kate here, not "bombshell" style so my hubby doesn't kick me out of the house - I remember your hubby's reaction to your cute little faux fur jackets.

  • flowergirl replied 11 years ago

I don't think animal prints ever go out of style but I think now we can create fun designs by fusing paisley with animal prints.

  • Mo replied 11 years ago

Yeah, I think it's fair to say they are sometimes more in than other times, but never truly 'out'. For me, they are less on trend now than a year or two ago.

  • Inge replied 11 years ago

    Mais oui!-)

  • replied 11 years ago

"tough girl style" - i love that. can't wait to see it!!

  • Amy replied 11 years ago

    absolutely

  • Aida replied 11 years ago

Retro and always in! I vote try one of the coats :D

  • Day Vies replied 11 years ago

I just never think of it as dated. Wear with wild abandon!
