If you have the hardest to find size in the world

and something promising suddenly becomes available:

1) It will sell out

2) Do Not Wait For a Sale

3) BBQ

My fever pink pumps are already sold out in my size. I am so happy I pulled the trigger a few days ago!!

I so agree with you. I've definitely learned that the hard way.

I realized that this is my 3rd post about these shoes. I hope they fit. I think I am obsessed.

I agree! Fingers crossed that the pink pumps fit! :-)

Yeah! Can't wait to see them on you!

It also applies to anything discounted to your price. I had a Foxcroft Denim shirt in my cart yesterday at 5:30AM and hit checkout (Nordstrom Sale) at which time said shirt became no longer available from 5:32 on... If I am in doubt I buy and then can think and return if necessary (I don't do final sale unless I am 100% convinced)

I can't wait to see you in those pink pumps!

This is a lesson I am learning as well Rita - and I think one of the reasons you have given and I now TOTALLY understand about why SYC doesn't always work.

So glad you got your shoes - keeping my fingers crossed for you (and me too)!

I learned the hard way, too. My white jacket is also sold out in my size - so glad the ladies at the meetup pushed me to buy!

YES. Totally agree. Even if you're a regular size, things can sell out quickly. I have no qualms about returning if it doesn't work out or asking for price adjustments if the price drops, but I kick myself if something I really want is gone in my size if I waited.

Can't wait to see those pink pumps on you Rita!

I am a firm believer in BBQ! And I think I wear the most common sizes, but the advice still stands.

I return a bunch of stuff that way, but there are enough times I've returned to find an item sold out that I've learned.
