Another casual weekend look and homage to IK

Hi all! Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! I had a full day of family visits, gardening, playing and cleaning with the family. I wanted to be comfortable and look good. I would have preferred longer clams but I have poison ivy on the back of my legs and anything touching it is extremely annoying. I wanted to wear my locket necklace but when I put it on it created an unattractive boob trough. I remembered IK's post about wearing a sports bra as a regular bra. May people commented that they wouldn't do this because it creates a uniboob. I decided that this would be the perfect time to use this trick to keep the locket in the right place. Did I succeed?

Target striped dolman sleeve top, old cut offs, Me Too ballet flats, and my trusty sports bra :)

    OMG - so sports bra negates boob trough???? Fantastic! And you know what? You don't look like you have uni boob at all!!!

    This is a fab little casual number Rita and I really like the touches of gold throughout.

    Sorry 'bout the poison ivy - that stinks!

    How inventive and it looks like it worked perfectly.

    Sadly my sports bras are like steel belted radial tires and I don't think I want to wear those babies for more than running.

    Oh, my! I have never heard the term boob trough before, but I love it with the fire of a thousand suns... so perfect. I like the outfit and support whatever means you tried to make it happen. Sports bra FTW!

    Love it. I spend most summer weekends in a sports bra - never thought of the necklace issue though!

    Sorry about the poison ivy! You look great though! I love your MOTG looks--thank you for posting them, I am trying to study MOTG looks more carefully and you look like you have yours down! Very creative with the sports bra supporting the locket!

    I love the creative use of sports bra. And I LOVE a dolman sleeve more than is really reasonable so this is the best! Hope the poison ivy heals quick.

    GP: I know! I have trouble on the weekends too! That's why I'm trying to make more of an effort to document even non-work days.

    The sports bra was a funny solution. I'm glad it didn't turn out too bad. Hubby liked it too.
